Kristen Dalton Wolfe, Creator of SheisMore.com and her husband, Kris Wolfe, Creator of GoodGuySwag.com come together in their first podcast on Relationships Radio to discuss the first step to having an amazing relationship.  Here are some of their talking points so you can follow along and make notes!

We believe everyone deserves and can have an epic love story. True love can exist for you, but it starts with having an epic relationship with yourself. You actually train people how to treat you based on the way you treat yourself. But learning to love yourself and truly embracing that concept to the point that your life becomes powerful isn’t something that happens over night. It takes patience and daily intention on re-training your mind and your thought patterns on what is true and healthy.

Relationship with yourself is ultimately having relationship with God because you are a divine expression of Him, the Creator of all things good and beautiful. There is a reason the term is self-respect. Because it is you alone that chooses whether or not you will agree with the way God sees you. Not what your past looks like, not the mistakes you made, not the rejection you endured or the heartbreak that left you hardened. It is up to you alone to determine if you are worthy of setting standards so you don’t just settle for whatever and whomever comes along. You are worth more than that.

It’s time to realize that other people and their opinions to not determine your value or whether or not you belong. The fact is, you do belong because God willed you into this life because he was obsessed with the idea of you and your purpose. Will you honor yourself? After all, you are the temple that houses the Spirit of the the God of the Universe.

Do you deserve an epic love story? Ultimately, that answer is up to what you believe about your worth.

Oh wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear tonight. Kristen, your story before meeting Kris reminds me so much of where I am at in life right now. I just broke up with my boyfriend last month and have been really struggling and even doubting my decision since then but this was such an incredible reminder and encouragement to me of why I did what I knew God was leading me to do. I’m in tears after listening to this. Thank you.
