How Does God See You?

How Does God See You?

I never understood that God saw me a different way than I saw myself until a few years ago. I learned that I was seeing myself through eyes of betrayal, hurt and rejection and in turn was constantly striving for approval and perfection. When I learned that these beliefs were lies authored by this world, my life was transformed. My eyes were filled with light and opened to see truth like never before. I realized that the truth of my identity is how God sees me, but I needed to understand exactly that was. So I went on a journey to discover who my real identity was through the One True King.

The process is to break off lies, strongholds, addictions, shame and anything that is holding you back from unlocking the door to a new life in Christ. This is your reveal…

She Reveals

I am a new creation in Him!
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has gone, the new has come.” 2 Cor. 5:17

I am reconciled in Christ! My message is reconciliation and freedom.
“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Cor 5:18-19

I am righteous and holy.
“And to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:24

I have been born again by the Holy Spirit:
Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit[b] gives birth to spirit. John 3:3-6

I am saved by grace as a gift, not because of my performance.
“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.” Ephesians 2:8

Now, you understand you have the right to a new life in Christ. Once you have broken off wrong belief systems, God is beckoning you to step into His spotlight and radiate like never before.

She Radiates

I radiate light wherever I go.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14

I shine like a firework in the night.
“Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” Philipphians 2:15

I am a daughter of Light.
“You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.”1 Thessalonians 5:5

I am the salt of the earth.
“You are the salt of the earth.” Matthew 5:13

I am a vessel of Divine Light.
“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6

Beams and light and joy exude from within me.
“Light shines on the godly, and joy on those whose hearts are right.” Psalm 97:11

When you realize your self-worth, beauty and joy in Christ, you have the fearlessness to step into your destiny and Reign…

She Reigns

I am a victor.
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37

I have a heavenly calling.
“Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest.” Hebrews 3:1

I have royalty in my veins and lead with integrity.
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9

I am designed for good works.
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

I am a co-heir with Christ.
“Now if we are children, then we are heirs- heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. If indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share with His glory.” Romans 8:17

I am chosen and called by God to produce fruit.
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” John 15:16

Now, speak the bolded declarations out loud to yourself. The power of life and death is in the tongue, so it is vital that you only allow the Truth to come out of your mouth. It could be the difference in an amazing life and a disappointing one. (Proverbs 18:21)

Kristen, these words are exactly what I was looking for to post on my Facebook page today as God has instructed me to encourage my family and friends. Thank you for posting!

  6. Hey y’all.

I would like to say that I am a 21 year male college student at Liberty University who leads a group bible study with 3 other guys, where we teach and disciple 12 other students about our age. And recently we are going through the biblical concept of Identity in our group, so I decided to find some resources on the topic to be able to teach on it. I would like to say that this post blessed me so much.

  7. I’m absolutely speechless… I just want to thank you for writing this. I’m so touched by this. I didn’t realize how much God loved his people. The last bible verse trips me up the most. I can’t even understand how much he loves us and me. Not meaning to be selfish, but I never realized how much he loved me. I knew it, he’s told me it, I’ve felt his love, but it has only been for a night and then I go back to living life, going through each day.
I’m at a point in life where I need to forgive myself and tbh, to be selfish in God’s love. I need to realize how much he cares about me. Why he would die for me (and of course for his children) and I need to stop pushing myself down. I have to stop being in denial wondering why he would do such a thing. I need to accept it and thank him. In return, I need to live for him showing him how much I care about and love him too. Obviously I will never ever be able to pay him back, but he’s given me so many gifts I can give him a couple small gifts here and there or everyday!

    1. Can’t wait to share this with others. Never had a reason to trust fathers. But if our perfect father feels this way about us then there is hope. Let’s all start to see each other the way God sees us. Wow what a way to bring heaven to earth. Thy will be done. On earth as it is in heaven. Much needed. Thank you for this. Beautifully written
