Stop and Stare: Discover How to Be That Girl

She is More

One night when I was laying in bed, I asked God to show me His message. I knew he had a message to speak for women, and I was seeking his desire. Instantly, the verse, “she is more precious than rubies” scripted across my mind. As I spoke it out loud, I stopped at “she is more…” And that is exactly the phrase with which God wants to release and empower us.

The truth is, I have met countless women who have left me jaw dropped to discover that she has no idea how incredibly valuable she is. My intense passion is to contend for her justice. The justice that will uncover layers of hurt and brokenness that hides the girl God masterfully created on purpose. People will stop and stare at her and say, “She is More… more than meets the eye, more than enough, more than worthy and more than beauty.”

If you are ready to drop the mask and walk in the crowning splendor to which you are called, you must know what it looks like to be “More.” She Reveals. She Radiates. She Reigns. She is More.

Reveal: James 5:16 “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” Revealing what you are going through is like shedding layers that have been muffling your light. There are too many people who walk around with forced smiles and heavy hearts. They are weighed down by the darkness that has been piled on by regret, disappointment or pain. But, there is power in transparency. We are not called to live isolated from relationships and we are not called to keep secrets. A More girl does not carry bitterness and shame in her heart. She knows the healing power of safely and openly releasing the hurt she carries. She unloads her ungodly beliefs and replaces them with godly truths. A More girl knows how to turn her mess into a message and her test into a testimony. When she has been healed and cleansed through the power of revealing and renewing her mind, her light can begin to shine.

Radiate: “Then you will shine among them like stars in the universe.” Philippians 2:15. A More girl illuminates darkness. She knows God says her worth is ‘far more precious than rubies”, which means she is pricelessly precious. She does not try to look like the rest of the world. She was born to stand out and she walks in love, light and leadership always. She is more than worthy of love and will only accept God’s best in a man. A More girl knows she is a daughter of the Most High and that she can live and operate out of complete peace daily. She knows she has been called to be a light on a mountaintop, therefore never compromises her integrity or self respect. She does not have to strive or prove anything because she knows whose she is. A More girl understands her royal call and she only welcomes things into her life that will brighten her sparkle.

Reign: And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14. A More girl understands she was born for a purpose. She knows that God has given her unique gifts and abilities to carry out an important call. She is strategic in her plans and with who she aligns. She never allows setbacks to defeat her because God said, “we are more than conquerors” which means he has won the battle for us before it has begun. She seeks her Father diligently because she knows he will reveal wisdom and her purpose in these moments. A More girl is careful with the words she speaks because she knows they are impactful.

Ultimately, she knows her real value is not measured by titles, accomplishments or fame. Her value is rooted in her identity and relationship with God. She knows that His grace, love and favor is all she has when worldly things are stripped away. You are here to unveil the truth about yourself, to break off ungodly beliefs, to radiate light and to carry out your royal call. What are you waiting for? Be that “She is More” girl today.
